Textile machinery from Switzerland, moved under merchant haulage
For a shipment of used textile machinery from Switzerland to India we loaded twelve containers in three days. The shipment ran ex works, so everything from the factory door was ours: the Swiss export declaration, the T1 to the load port, and the intermodal pre carriage, which we arranged ourselves under merchant haulage rather than leaving it to the carrier.
The result
All containers went on one barge and one ocean sailing, with customs documentation, planning and communication kept in house.
