The first and the last mile
We arrange the road leg between your site and the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, timed so the container reaches the terminal before the closing time rather than after it. We also arrange direct trailers across Europe, including full loads of oversized cargo that need permits, a planned route and sometimes an escort. How it is unloaded decides which trailer we use: a curtainsider when it comes off the side, a flatbed when it is lifted from above.

  • Full trailers

    Straight from loading address to delivery address, with several drops per trip where useful.

  • Part loads and pallets

    Single pallets travel as groupage, or go direct when time is short.

  • Oversized and ADR

    Permits, routing and escorts arranged for loads outside standard dimensions, and ADR transport for dangerous goods by road.

  • Case: Full trailers, delivered direct to multiple sites

    For an Italian supplier we arranged seven full trailers of material for a Dutch dike reinforcement project, with several delivery addresses per trip. That depends on the right loading sequence at the supplier: whatever comes off first has to go on last. We instructed the supplier accordingly, so everything could be unloaded straight off the trailer.

    The result

    No intermediate storage in a warehouse and no onward transports, so less handling, less risk of damage and lower cost for the client.
